Many local groups and churches have been faithful, diligent, and hard at
work to bring spiritual revival to Baltimore. For all of recent history,
during the last twenty years, wave upon wave of ministries and alliances
have focused on our beloved city. And for the last couple years there has
been a sense that something big is about to happen in Baltimore.

In April 2010, the Maryland Bible Society celebrates its 200 year
anniversary and will celebrate this milestone all year long. This is
reinforced by the National Bible Association's nomination of Baltimore to
be the National Bible City for 2010. There will be a week long celebration
planned for November 2010 with a focus on reading the Bible.

For Baltimore, 2010 is becoming the Year of The Bible. Local, regional,
and national groups are uniting in this common cause. A CityReachers
